It sounds as if what you are doing is just the right stuff for your kind of group. So how to get the dnacers plugged in? I would suggest that you add some exercises that involve moving to music, maybe just one exercise at each session (3 min.?). Ask a different dancer each night to pick a piece of music to work with, devise some simple movements that the whole group can go, and teach/lead them at the warm-up. This will make them feel needed and important, and will assist the whole group in acquiring a better kinesthetic connection to music.
