I used to play music on a half-hour drive to teach at school. One day I
played Night on Bare Mountain by Mussorgsky, and found I had taken 5
minutes off my time!

I also found march music kept me motoring. I've just bought a
compilation CD of Bernstein conducting marches at various stages through
his career: some great music, but boy, did he have a strange idea of how
fast it was possible to march!
