Another delightful duet I discovered (sorry for the alliteration) is by Michael Balfe (of BOHEMIAN GIRL fame). It's called "Trust Her Not", and has a very Victorian parlour duet feel to it - it also is VERY easy to learn, and provides a lot of scope for hamming it up.
Another, in a more serious vein, is "Restless River" by Edward German - also his "Love is meant to make us glad".
And there's "The Second Minuet" by Maurice Besly - another Victorian parlour gem about "Grand-papa and Grand-mama dancing the second minuet".
