Dear Molly:
I agree in part with Mariella. It would be a very unusual voice indeed
to which all these arias would be appropriate. However, I would not go so
far as to say a young voice should NOT sing a particular aria. I would
recommend that your audition/competition arias be ones you can perform and
would be cast in now, not arias you will grow into. It's hard to recommend
repertoire without having heard your voice. How would you describe your
voice? Fach? What does your voice teacher think? Your coach?
Sounds like fun.
