That tickled me too, but Chris Matthews doesn't usually do these "Today Show" type of performer interviews. He usually does political commentary, discussion and interviews on NBC's cable stations CNBC and MSNBC. So I cut him a little slack, as he clearly seemed like a fish out of water on the Today Show! But I liked it when he said his son is a tenor.
