How astute is your observation. Of course, it's the Boston pronouncation. However, I should have spelled it Mahlah because the 'r's are dropped at ends of words and where the 'r' was, is changed to an 'ah'. By the way, in New York 'Boston' is pronounced 'Boarstin' and in New England ya hea 'Bawsten.'
