The title of the song is "Grow Old Along with Me", and
yes, John, it was written by John Lennon. I've sung
this at weddings also and it is a lovely, simple song
that a lot of people know and love. "The Rose" is a
nice wedding choice and you might want to look at
"Perhaps Love". It was originally a duet between John
Denver and Placido Domingo (what a combo), but works
just as well as a solo.
