I have to ask - have you heard him live and in person? I
have, twice, as Samson and Othello. I think I have a good
ear for pitch, and he sang in tune both times I heard him.
I haven't heard his recordings, so I can't say what they
sound like. He's another performer who has dramatic
intensity and commitment, though I wouldn't be surprised if
his singing career isn't that long - both because of his
other musical interests and because it sounds like he takes
risks with his voice for dramatic purposes.
