Handel is correct,
but the lyrics are from two different selections from L'ALLEGRO entitled:
"Let Me Wander Not Unseen" and
"Or Let the Merry Bells Go Round"
These were in my freshman repertoire in college,
thanks for the stroll down memory lane and the florid runs!

"45 Arias from Operas and Oratorios"
for Voice & Piano
(Sergius Kagen)
High voice, Volume 1.
International Music Co. NYC

p. 42 in F Major

Let me wander, not unseen,
By hedgerow elms on hillocks green
There the ploughman near at hand
Whistles over the furrow'd land.
And the milkmaid singeth blithe
And the mower whets his scythe
And every shepherd tells his tale
Under the hawthorn in the dale.

p.44 in D Major

Or let the merry bells ring round
And the jocund rebecks sound
To many a youth and many a maid
Dancing in the chequer'd shade.
