I don't know if King's is a church school or a secular school, nor if you want only music-related texts or generally inspiring texts. I found one recently that is generally inspiring which I have put up on my office wall:
"What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson
If it is a religious school, the other generally inspiring text that I keep coming back to is this one:
"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." - Proverbs 3:6
Then there's also the text in my .sig, below, from first Corinthians. You may find a translation of the same text that you like better - I've found several, some substitute the word "psalms" for "hymns", and others drop the word altogether, but they all say, in essence, "One should sing from their spirit, but also from their brain." I think this is a crucial message for any singer, regardless of what they're singing.
