If you want a voice that will blow people away, I suggest you:
1) Stop misusing your voice so you don't lose your high notes.
2) Take responsibility for the sound you are making and stop
blaming your lack of satisfaction on your jury members.
Then you will be able to sing the music your teacher assigns because
you will be healthy and conscientious in your work habits. It sounds
to me as though the jury was very generous to you and should take
their grades as a vote of confidence. You should realize this, then
you should get to work in a mature and systematic way.

Clarissa,

First don't worry so much about your jury. Yes, it is very important
and you should take it seriously but don't hang your whole worth as a
singer on one day where a bunch of people who may hear about twice a
year for five minutes at a time. Even the most remarkable voice
teacher could not pick up on every aspect of your voice in this amount
of time. I'm sure the voice faculty at your school is remarkable but
all of them do not hear you on a regular basis. Trust in your voice
teacher. They hear you more than almost anyone else and they can tell
you which comments you should take with a grain of salt. As for your
actual number grades, they are just numbers, so as long as you got an
A don't worry about it. Everyone has their opinions and you can't
please everyone all of the time. Love your voice, but most of all love
yourself and don't let anyone else get you down.

Audrey
