I have to admit that I do have mixed feelings about the gratis cantoring
because I do feel that since my abilities are a Godgiven gift I do owe
it to Him, however trying to get Catholics to sing in church,
particularly the relatively awful 70's folk music which lies on the
break of almost every parishioner. It is truly a "cross to bare" as the
old nuns used to say in parochial school. And now I will seal up my "can
of worms." Anne
