I have used this thing and loved it, it feels great when you are through, however, I turned up with a NASTY nasopharyngitis while using it, and was on Levaquin for 17 days......I feel good now, maybe I had this infection for a really long time or something, BUT my ENT says that there is disagreement among ENTs about nasal lavage-some feel like it just washes infection around. I have not done it since I got off the antibiotics and feel better than I have in a long time. I am curious as to what you medical-types think about doing this-can it actually do more harm than good? BTW, I kept the thing meticulously clean and only used the prepackaged sinucleanse solution.
I would love to think that just using the neti pot could prevent sinus infections, but I am not so sure............
