Mike and Vocalisters.

My larynx stays exactly in the same place for all open vowels, It
only rises slightly on the /i/ vowel which is logical because the
middle of the tongue must rise so that its edges can touch the upper
back molars and the tongue is attached to the larynx via the hyoid
bone and membranes.
