There's a lovely rendering of "Pleurs d'or" on the EMI Complete Faure
Melodies recording, sung by Elly Ameling and Gerard Souzay, with Dalton
Baldwin accompanying. I much prefer it to the Victoria de los
Angeles/Dietrich Fiescher-Dieskau/Gerald Moore recording.
