There you go again, in an otherwise excellent post, saying that there were no female singers with ringing voices at the time of the castrati. There's no reason to believe that this is true--so why do you keep repeating this sexist notion?
The evidence that I've read states very clearly that women singers of the time were highly skilled technicians and artists who held their own on the operatic stage alongside the castrati.
They may not have produced the same extraordinary volume or long breath, but without the castrati's unnaturally enlarged chest cavity, neither could the ungelded males of the day.
