Subject:  O-T: lamentations for a turntable

Among these posts discussing...well, I'll say no more
than vocalist matters - I read where one was lamenting
the loss of their LP turntable to the purpose of doorstop.
As Roger the Shrubber would say, "tis a sad time & state
of affairs when turntables are relegated to the propping
up of doors"...or some such rot!
But be aware!
If you have access to the 'web' - you are no further away
to the purchase of a turntable (& other items audio visual)
at very reasonable prices than at J & R Music World!
Good quality, prices & support.

EV
trying to formulate an opinion from the viewing of last
night's broadcast of South Pacific with Glenn Close as
Nellie (& executive producer...hmmm) & Harry Connick, Jr.
as Lt. Cable...I'm still leaning toward the '58 offering, but
I don't anyone will ever top Mary Martin!
