Hi! My name is Richard Stevenson. I am a new member of the vocalist
group so I thought I would introduce myself. I am a doctoral student
at Louisiana State University in Vocal Ped. Yes, Taylor and I have
become good friends since starting our degree together. He is the
one who turned me on to the vocalist. I also study voice with Dr.
Stephen Austin. Since starting my degree at LSU, I have gained a
wealth of knowledge regarding the science of the voice as well as the
practical application of this knowledge in the studio. I would
highly recommend Dr. Austin's program to anyone considering taking
up the teaching of singing.
I have a lovely wife, Pam, and a son, Luke, who is 18 mo. old.
I look forward to many engrossing discussions in the future.
