I asked my voice teacher(Dr. Bill Reed),if men could belt ..
His answer was Yesbut only high voices.. The higher the voice the easier to
belt Lower voices(basicaly every voice that can not be classified as Tenor)
can not.
Belting he added( in answer to a previous posters question) has nothing to
do with race.
He said most male pop singers belt. For an example of male broadway belt,he
told me to listen to The Life OBC.
