Dear Vocalisters,
I've always performed in spaces that have pianos. However, I have just had an
offer of funding for a series of recitals in places that are not likely to
have a decent piano--if any piano at all.
Have any of you rented pianos for recitals? What kinds of costs are involved?
Any ideas on how costs can be minimized?
I thought that perhaps I might be able to offer "previews" at a local piano
dealer's showroom in a partial exchange for a portion of the rental fees?
I'd appreciate any input you can offer!
