Ah but John, I personally have about three ways of singing
each of which works well by my observation, but only one
that fits the bill in every respect: the main one being, as you say,
very little effort for maximum return, no matter how we
evaluate the tone. Only then when the mechanism is at ease
will it do as the brain so delicately urges. We agree!!!!!

So "fixed", covers a multitude of feelings. : )
