Hello,

yep. I have decided to audition for next semester's
shows, no matter what may have happened last semester.
The two shows are the musicals "Brigadoon" and
"Quilters". I am, of course, hoping to be considered
for Quilters...I was talking with my old voice
teacher today , and she tells me how difficult the
score is!
Anyhoo, for auditions they suggest an old 1940's or
50's MT piece , or a folk song. I am thinking I do my
best singing with folk songs....and I am considering
that old warhorse, "At the River"....unless any of you
rep experts have any great suggestions that might make
me stand out?
(I am a mezzo, BTW)
