Actually, I've just started a strength training program, both for my upper
body which is pathetically weak, and for my knees, which are notoriously
unstable - in the last 2 weeks, I have dislocated my knee 3x - a misstep
going down the basement steps, a slip on the ice and a fall off the
treadmill! (DOH!) Need to build up the quads because my left knee, which
was injured many years ago, simply is not strong enough to withstand any kind
of misstep. And on a musical note, I want to be able to be sure that if I'm
on stage and have to descend steps, I'm not going to fall on my face!
