My boyfriend and I have just bought a new house, and it includes a
STUDIO! Well, OK, what it really is is a shed out the back of the
yard, but in my mind it is a studio. I am extremely excited about
this, because it is really the first time I have had somewhere really
specific to sing. In the past it has been bedroom, dining room,
bedroom, bedroom, and inbuilt balcony.

This brings me to wonder where other people practice. Most people I
know end up doing something much the same as I have. The worst
example I have ever heard is that of Yvonne Kenny who apparently used
to have to practice in the middle of a park. (My singing teacher also
taught her, and told me this story).
