Hi Susi, Yes my regular teacher knows this. I even lent her my video of last years summer school masterclass sessions, as I thought she might like to see how another voice teacher works. I don't think she even bothered to view it though. My experience has taught me that different teachers work in different ways, and some are able to evoke quite a different voice quality within the space of a single lesson. The hardest thing though, is to re-create that sound afterwards and to make it my own. I suppose that is why it takes years to learn. I will take your warnings seriously though. At the end of the day, my regular teacher is convinced that I have a potential high 'C' and I want to acquire a secure and sustainable high range, in not too many years. Julian Lovegrove
