Subject: Surprising sinus operation results!

Hi all! On January 10th, I had the ever-discussed sinus/nose operation to
correct a deviated septum, open a blocked turbinate, and clean the sinuses.
While the operation was kind of rough on me, the results are wonderful!

I DID talk to the anesthesiologist and she used the smallest tube available.
Thanks to all of you who recommended this. She also said if intubation
looked like it was going to be difficult, she would stop right there, they
would wake me up and discuss other options. Which certainly reassured me.
I'm sure me starting with "These are million dollar vocal chords" helped make
the required impression! Hee hee hee..

Anyway, back to results, My voice is much more resonant, and the oddest
thing is singing is EASIER!!!

While I expected the voice to be more resonant, I NEVER expected singing to
be easier! The coloratura just flies, certain trouble notes are no longer
trouble, etc., etc. Can any of the gurus here tell me why this would be a
side benefit? I can't figure it out, but I sure am enjoying it! I am having
fun playing with the new resonance space too.

Thanks!
