I must agree with Sharon. The best dresses are simple - long, black, plan, no taffetta or satin, just some kind of breathable, normal fabric.
I think the poster's question, though, was about where to order such dresses, not necessarily about the style Have you tried a search using choral attire or choir dresses as your search criteria? I bet www.dogpile.com would be helpful. Other listers have raved about www.google.com. I know you'll find something. I don't remember the names of companies choirs I've been in have dealt with in the past.
I've also been in choirs which gave a pattern number and had everyone have a dress made and fitted for them in their size using the specific pattern. This worked well, and everyone ended up having a dress which fit.
