That 'flipping' back and forth things is due to the kind of tone that
higher one is. Mariah is truely great because she has mastered the
'whistle tone'. It's something we all have a young age and unlearn. It
is a different kind of vocal tone due to the way it is produced. It's not
regular phonation. We learned this in my Vocal Pedagogy class. She may
not be utilizing her full potential, but she definately has a developed
technique. And I agree, she really should wear more clothing.
