I think it's because all those technical faults that have been mentioned here
over and over again are there because she's trying to manufacture an
artificially "mature" sound. It happens a lot with young singers who want to
sound older than their years and it's not the healthiest way to sing and
certainly is not the path to a long-lasting voice.
