Hi all: I joined about a week ago but forgot to include a bio. Here it is:

Bill Gabbard
B.A. cum laude Vocal Perf., Mercer University; M.A. Vocal Performance and
Pedagogy, Univ of Iowa (soloist in Kantorei with Don V Moses; opera leads,
coached w/ Beaumont Glass, Vocal Ped & Principles of Voc. Prod. w/ Ingo
Titze)., 60 hrs in the DMA program (ABD). For nineteen years have studied
voice with my mentor and dear friend Dr. John Van Cura.

Taught voice and diction as TA at Iowa and as Asst. Prof. -at- Univ of
Nebraska-Omaha. Currently (for last 13 yrs) Vocalist with the Soldiers'
Chorus of the US Army Field Band, Washington, DC. Reside in Annapolis MD area.

Interests: Vocal Ped, Perfect Pitch related stuff, a capella (particularly
early music) choral, church music
