I sure wouldn't want to pay for dups on everything! Once I'm ready to audition or perform, I have my music memorized. My accompanist uses my one copy to play for me. (She is one of those who has her own music library, and so doesn't usually need a copy in advance---but wasn't that 'copy to be replaced by original asap' thing covered in the guidelines?)
