I beg to differ. In the college process that I've been in recently, they ask you to photocopy music and send ahead of time for your accompanist. They then destroy the copies after you audition. It is just for practice for the accompanist. They are strict about it but for auditions they make exceptions. I know a certain conservatory that has you make photocopies of all music to have a large binder full of your repertoire. I personally think photocopying music is helpful sometimes but I try to avoid it. Thanks! Just spouting my knowledge, Cari
