this statement is totally uncalled for and represents a total
lack of respect for the copyright holders who have either
composed works or arranged compilations of works. Referring to
ASCAP and BMI as 'gestapo' is a major affront to the common
decency that normally is found on this list and deserves a full
apology. I don't think that there are any of us on this list
that would defame another poster in such a manner.
