I have to agree with Karen here. Anything that involves relaxing--and sex qualifies--has only positive effects on my singing. Though I woundn't want to burn too much energy right before a performance.
I have no idea for men. But I do know that the same "myth?" exists in the world of sports. Men needing to hold onto their testosterone reserves or something. Who knows....
