I am just tuning in here, so I don't know who wrote the original list of
"Don'ts" for the voice. Most of it is simple common sense. Avoid doing any-
thing that puts undue stress on the voice.

As for crying, it is a great emotional release. If you need to cry, by all
means DO IT! It may be a bit difficult to sing immediately after crying
(although some, including the wise Wesley Balk, would debate that), but in the
long run you will be more relaxed and free.
