Sorry if this has been mentioned already (catching up on lots of Digests!).
Verdi has a gorgeous a capella piece for SSAA called "Laudi Alla Vergine
Maria". It says it's for 4 solo voices, but I did it in college w/ a small
women's group and it was beautiful. The copy I have has a copyright date of
1898, so if you want a legal xerox, let me know.
