Hi, good for you QT! I can highly recommend that you browse the
rec.music.songwriting Usenet newsgroup. People post their lyrics
for critique and there are a bunch of seasoned songwriters who are
willing to take your lyrics apart and put them back together again.
There's definitely a few Nashville country-types who browse the
newsgroup and offer advice, so if you are in to country lyrics then
you might find some good tips. Of course, you need to be aware
that the newsgroups are freely readable, so you do need to be
aware that your non-copyrighted material could be 'stolen'.

Keep writing! and singing!
