You'll find that there are a number of people in this group who are not
Charlotte Church fans because of technical problems she displays when
singing. However, as she has opened the doors to opera for you, why don't
you go further and explore some other opera singers. Although there are also
some problems with her technique, I think that Kathleen Battle makes a nice
introduction to the lighter soprano repertory. Find one of her CD's and see
what you think.
