One of my fondest memories of singing in high school choir was performing
the four-part ensemble numbers from JACQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL AND
LIVING IN PARIS. These worked remarkably well with a sixty-plus voice
choir and an enthusiastic director.

Some other favourite pieces (without soloists) were:

Randall Thompson: Frostiana

Toru Takemitsu: arrangement of "Sakura"

J.S. Bach: Lobet den Herren, denn er ist freundlich, BWV 374

Mozart: Ave verum corpus

Gerald Finzi: 7 Part-Songs, op. 17

John David: You are the New Day (the King's Singers "theme song")

John Farmer: Fair Phyllis

Orlando Gibbons: The Silver Swan

Thomas Morley: Sing we and chant it; My bonny lass she smileth; Now is the
month of maying

John Dowland - Now, O now I needs must part

Orlando di Lasso - O la! O che bon eco!

Pierre Passereau - Il est bel et bon

And a few with soloists:

Bernstein: Make our garden grow (finale from CANDIDE)

J.S. Bach: Magnificat in D Major

Orff: Carmina Burana

Mozart: Requiem
