Help!
What can one give a male student(fairly beginner) whose range is C2 to B3.
We can't even sing Oisis and Osiris because of the C.
I have been transposing (badly) folk-songs e.g Greensleeves, but was
wondering if there is anything in standard repertoire.
Whenever the phrase is too high, the student automatically transposes down
one octave.(Nazareth becomes quite a challenge when sung like this, also
The Floral Dance) One can get quite sea-sick listening to this, and
it's fine for lessons, but somewhat limiting for performances!
