In my experience, there is nothing in a (properly taught) yoga class that
will be "wrong" for your mind, body or soul. The breathing is deep and
full, often sustained, which is great singing training. You will feel more
connected to your breath than ever before. Remember, during your yoga
study, that yoga is not about the guy next to you or he woman across the
room, it's not about trying to go as deep into the poses as anyone else.
It's all about what your body can do and what your body needs that moment of
that day. Start slowly and enjoy. It's a wonderful practice.
