I just got back from my first concert. I study in a school for choir singing
in Israel and today was the first students concert this year. Each of the
students that are ready, have learned with their voice teacher an aria or a
song and they perform infront of all the other students, teachers and
guests. I was so nervous, cause this was to be the first time I sing in
front of so many people, my parents and so...

I sang "Sebben Crudele" which I know that almost everyone of the listers
know... but this was my first aria and the audience was very enthusiastic,
everyone came to me and said it was amazing.

Well, I was too nervous when I sang but everyone said I seemed to be on top
of it. I can't wait for the next concert cause I'm sure that they havn't
seen nothing yet. I know I'll be so much more relaxed.

I actually want to ask you vocalists for some information regarding the
piece: "cry, the beloved country"
I went to this concert 3 weeks ago and there was a choir and a few soloists
that performed parts from this piece and it was so beutiful. I want to sing
one of the parts for a tenor.

Where can I find the notes for it (online)? I also wish to listen to on my
computer,
so if any of you knows how I can put my hands on mp3 files from the piece,
I'll be so greatfull.
