But we can introduce lighter and humorous tones in email. For instance: (grin) (joke) (laugh)
(tongue-in-cheek) Or in a quote like, I know everything (right!). I'm the best! (snicker). Oh,
that hurt (joke). You have your nerve! (grin)

Sure it takes a little longer to write these asides in but it sure saves hurt feelings.
