Dale Gillespie asks:
>>My voice teacher seems to think that there is a Tenor version of FALSTAFF. Is there? Or does Falstaff appear in another Opera but sung by a Tenor? >>
Grove's Dictionary of Opera lists only two other operas with Falstaff: Falstaff by Saleri, where the main character is a bass, and "The Merry Wives of Windsor," by Nicolai, where Falstaff is also a bass.
