Actually, the line is "grounds in my coffee."
Our local wake-up-the-ears radio station, KKUP (People's Radio since 1974!), played an early version of "Louie, Louie" by a solo 1950s R&B singer. (Guess I'll have to call Fly and find out who it was.) Could understand *every* word and no, it's not a filthy song.
My very favorite is Dave Barry's version of the first line of "Help Me Rhonda": "Well when she put me down I had owls puking in my bed."
