Greetings, list! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

I'm posting because I have a gig!! Some of you may remember me as
"patcombs-at-utep.edu." You may remember that I was hired to sing in the
chorus of "La Traviata" for the local opera company. The general manager
said that since I was only filling in for one of the members while she was
performing a role, I may not be hired to do the spring opera. Well, to make
a long story short, I received a call from him yesterday asking if I would
like to sing in the spring opera. Of course, I said yes. More news as it
comes. First rehearsal on Monday. Wish me luck.
