Boston area vocalists:

There will be a program of Schubert lieder based on texts by Goethe, to
commemorate the 250th anniversary of Goethe's birth, on Sunday, January 16
(moved from January 23) at 2 p.m. at the Boston Public Library, Copley
Square, with D'Anna Fortunato and Malcolm Halliday, sponsored by the American
Schubert Institute and free and open to the public. Some of the Goethe poems
will be recited, and there will be programs with the texts in German and
English along with program notes by Steve Ledbetter.
