I sang at a wedding where the bride was originally determined to have me sing "Mon coeur s'ouvre a ta voix". Out of context, I guess this wouldn't be *that* goofy, but I just couldn't get the operatic context out of my mind. Finally, the groom put his foot down - not because he had a clue about the aria, but because he didn't want anything that wasn't in English (she was French Swiss, he American - the wedding was here in America).
