Janis and others who request research information.
Are you a music major. What course are you taking that requires this paper. If you have had music theory I cannot imagine that you would not know the differences between 19th and 20th century music.
Use your library. Look at the articles on 20th century opera in your reference books in the library. Groves dictionary is a good beginning place or the Groves Dictionary of Opera would be most logical. There is a wealth of literature available but you must look for it and not expect us to provide it for you.
It is through the looking (research?) that you learn about the wealth of material available and develop a sense of how to find things for yourself. It is through the research that you become educated. One must always, eventually , learn for themselves. College is only a guiding light at best.
I wish you well. Lets us know how the paper comes out.
