Dear Samson:

In reference to buying a doctorate--gee, at over $1500 a semester for the
final courses of my doctorate, the dissertation courses, I thought that's
what I was doing! Re-paying back my student loans at $400 a month should
also qualify me!

I would like to suggest to you that if you really want a doctorate, that you
enroll in an accredited college or university and actually complete the
coursework. I realize that it is now possible to "buy a doctorate" on-line
or mail-order, but if you really want to get a good job, your on-line
doctorate would immediately be recognized as a sham and your reputation
could be irreparably damaged.

Take it from me--I've been teaching in accredited American colleges for over
7 years now--when you apply for a job, your credentials are thoroughly
checked. Transcripts are checked, advisers and registrars are contacted,
and your phony doctorate would eventually be uncovered. Would you really
want to risk your career in that way?

As I'm skeptical that you're really a member of this list, I'm also posting
this reply to your "Zona Sam" e-mail address.

Please don't buy a doctorate, and don't involve the good people of Vocalist
any further in this nonsense.

Sincerely,

Jana
